From Start To Finish
We connect you and your odd job with teens in training who are also your neighbors! You can feel great about helping them practice skills and earn a paycheck.
A mentor will receive your request, set up the job, ensure good work, and follow up with you.
OUR STORY
Neighborhood Jobs is an initiative of Neighborhood Church in the Jackson Neighborhood of Fresno, CA. We believe God cares about every aspect of our neighbors and neighborhood. Neighborhood Jobs started to provide economic opportunities in a place where people struggle with poverty and barriers to employment. It matters to Jesus that our neighborhood and neighbors would flourish.
How We Work
Equipping
We believe the worker matters as much as the work. Once a month we gather together to learn a new skill. From basic plumbing and electrical to fixing those old double hung windows. Our team is adding capacity. We also train on money management, educational success and character development.
The Workers & Mentors
The workers are teenagers from the neighborhood and local schools. They are mentored by neighbors in the Jackson Neighborhood of Fresno, CA. We coach and equip them to work hard and learn skills. We oversee them, their grades and job performance, and connect them with opportunities to learn the value of an honest job and honest pay.

We're Ready For You
These teens can fix sprinklers, prune bushes, plant flowers, walk dogs, wash your car, rake leaves, organize photo albums, assemble furniture, put holiday lights up, water trees, dig holes, move stuff, go on ladders, scrub and scour - we could go on!
What job do you wish a teenager would jump to do?
We're excited to work - we're ready for you.
